What is a digital download print?

If you wonder what a digital download print is and what to do when you buy a digital print, here are all the answers!

A digital download print is a digital file you will instantly receive, then you can download it to your computer. So it's not a physical product. You can also call it printable art or instant download print. The file contains the image of your print.

When you purchase one of my abstract prints, animal nursery prints or guitar prints you will instantly receive an email with a download link. Click on the link and a ZIP file will be downloaded to your computer.

What is a ZIP file and how do I open it?

A ZIP is a common file format that is used to compress one or more files together. To unzip the contents, right click the folder, select Extract All, and follow the instructions.

How do I print my files?

You can print your files in the following ways:

• Use your own printer

• Use an online printing service. Examples are Shutterfly, Mpix, Walgreens or Target.

• Bring the file to your local printing service. Copy your file to a USB drive before you go to your printer.

What paper should I use?

It is recommended to use a higher quality paper, preferably matte or satin. A high quality matte card stock will be a good choice. Most print stores will have a variety of paper available.

How large can I print?

It will depend on the print you purchased. For example, my 20” x 30” print will look the best when printed in 20” x 30” or smaller, when you go larger the print will be more grainy. It should be fine to go just a little bit larger.
